How Long Is Runyon Canyon Hike

Runyon Coulee is a hike in Key Hollywood that often gets a bad rap from the hiking customs due to the trendy outfits and "Instagram celebrities" that regularly use it. Looking past that though, Runyon Canyon is actually a great hiking spot in the middle of Los Angeles, and it is excellent for people watching as well (I fifty-fifty saw Gerard Butler final time I was there). Getting There

If you are in Los Angeles and hiking on the weekend, then get in that location early or consider taking an Uber so that you can avoid having to attempt and observe a parking spot. During the week, you can often find a spot if it is non early on in the morning or later work. I recommend parking on Fuller Ave, if you tin, as that is the all-time place to enter the park from.

The Hike

Here is a map of the park trails, I recommend heading upwardly the right side to Clouds Balance and if you are tired yous tin head downwardly the paved road (heart path in the higher up photo) or if you want to push button yourself more than y'all can connect with the W Trail.

From the entrance, you will walk through the gate and continue on a paved road for a tenth of a mile.

From here, the road becomes dirt and bends to the right to start the uphill to Inspiration Point.

From here, the route winds around until you eventually see a large power line tower and a dirt route that heads off to the left.

Have this and continue uphill till you reach a single rail that leads down to the stairs side by side to the mansion sitting on the loma.

These stairs will help y'all navigate the uneven trail and pass by the large business firm.

From there it is more uphill to get to the top of the ridgeline. When yous get in at the top, you lot volition be greeted by the best view in the park.

You have Hollywood and Downtown LA on i side and the Hollywood Sign on the other.
